American’s were outraged when The City of New York declared that dogs were no longer allowed to travel on the subway unless they were able to fit inside a bag or carrier. These passengers reacted, with their dogs, in the most hilarious way possible.

As you can imagine, once one person did, everyone did and that’s exactly what happened here. Regular traveler Jackie Greaney always took her adorable black Labrador on the subway, and at the time they bought the new rules in, she didn’t think they would be able to travel together again.

Panic not! Jackie’s pup was more than happy to jump in the bag if it meant he could have a day out. All aboard!

Finally A Reason To Use That IKEA Bag

We’ve all been to IKEA, after all, it is like an adult theme park and although they are handy at the time, when carrier the million things you have just purchased, once you get home, their blue carrier bags just tend to take up space in a cupboard somewhere rather than being re-used.

Now we have a solution, cut four leg holes and you have yourself a subway dog carrier.

Not So Happy

Despite the fact this doggo is on a day out, he looks far from impressed about the new do’s and don’ts on the subway. This gym bag seemed like the perfect solution for this passenger, but if the dog could talk, we’re sure he would have something to say about it.

Not only that, but he certainly looks like one heavy dog!

While this guy waited for the subway at Franklin Avenue, another passenger took this hilarious snap. Returning from his travels, we bet this guy never thought his backpack would come in handy when transporting his dog on the subway.

Either way, the owners back is fully supported and the dog looks more than comfortable – even if he is looking the wrong way for the train.
