Leonard is one of the original cast members. He has appeared on every episode of the show since the very first pilot. His character is the roommate and best friend of the brilliant Sheldon Cooper.
The pair work together at the local university. The gorgeous neighbor from across the hall, the lovable Penny, captures Leonard’s heart. The two finally wed in the ninth season of the show, much to the delight of the show’s fans.
John Galecki as Leonard Hofstadter – Now
In real life, John was a success before he landed the role of Leonard. The character has won John numerous awards, including a prestigious Emmy for the leading role in a series.
When season eight was in the works, John renegotiated his salary from $350,000 per episode, to nearly $1 million.
Alessandra Torresani as Claire – Then
Claire is the adorable bartender, that meets Howard and Raj at Stuart’s store. Raj immediately feels a connection with the pixie-haired beauty but his feelings are not returned.
Later, while Raj is dating Emily, the two pursue a relationship. Much to both of the ladies’ surprise, he breaks up with both of them
Alessandra Torresani as Claire – Now
This beautiful 30-year-old actress had a string of impressive acting gigs before getting a role in the show. Some of these include cameos on Two and a Half Men, American Horror Story, and Husbands.
It does not seem like the actress’s character will return to the show but Alessandra is looking forward to a career in feature films.
