The Royals probably wish they could forget these fashion faux pas
The Royals are a source of great interest to people around the world which means that they are constantly being followed around by paparazzi ready to catch them in a compromising moment. We all like to think that they are perfect, as they appear to be coiffed to perfection, wearing the latest in designer fashions and always having a smile plastered across their faces (well, that’s not always true for the Queen). However, Royals are people too and if you have a look at some of their fashion and social faux pas’ you will see that they are really just like everyone else at the end of the day.
A Shotgun Wedding
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have always appeared to gaze adoringly at each other. That is their go-to look when the cameras start snapping and we like to think that it is real. When it was announced that Harry had proposed and Meghan had accepted the two stepped out to share the happy news with the press.

Meghan was wearing a wrap-around white coat which appeared to accentuate her midsection. This led many reporters to think that this was a wedding of necessity rather than love. Unfortunately for Meghan, it was simply a bad wardrobe choice as she was not pregnant yet.
Wind, Wind, Go Away
Queen Elizabeth II has been wearing bold hats and coats for decades but at one point she had a more sedate wardrobe. She was standing on a podium when the wind picked up making it very difficult for her to keep her hat in place. Her hat pins must have come undone because every few minutes the wind would try and snatch her hat away from her.

The picture shows that she became rather annoyed by this situation and we can’t say we blame her. Next time she might need the kind of hat that ties under the chin.
Getting Caught
Walking around in heels is just one of the many clothing expectations that any Royal lady has to follow. Heels must always be worn at official functions and paired with a knee-length dress. During one function at Buckingham Palace, Duchess Kate was just about to make her entrance when her heel got caught in some of the metal grating outside of the palace.

Prince William looks down at Kate amusedly but attempts to help her dislodge her shoe so that they can get on with their procession. Poor Kate, she was all ready to go until she took one misstep.
Stay Down
Camilla Parker-Bowles who is Prince Charles’ second wife has taken to Royal life like she was born into it. However, she too is subject to some windy moments and instead of just losing a hat she almost lost her entire dress.

Camilla had to think fast about how to keep her unmentionable areas out of the spotlight and using a hand on her hat and her pocketbook over her skirt she managed for the most part to keep everything where it needed to be. This could have been a lot worse, it just seems like chiffon and wind don’t go together.
