Bride tells her fiancé to get a second job to pay for their wedding after quitting hers

It’s concerning just how expensive weddings are. While you can have one super cheap by getting married in the town hall, most couples like to splash out on their big day. They spend tens of thousands of dollars on the ceremony and reception, leaving very little money for other things in their life. Unfortunately, that often blows back in their faces, just as it did with this bride. No-one, including her fiancé, approved of her desire for an expensive wedding.

The perfect wedding

Like many people, this woman had been dreaming of the day she’d walk down the aisle ever since she was a kid. She’d been picturing things like what her dress would look like and what flowers she’d have for so many years.

However, all that devotion to her wedding had a negative effect on her. The more she thought about her special day, the more determined she became to make it a reality, no matter what.

What she’d been waiting for

When her partner popped the question, we don’t doubt that this woman was over the moon. Not only did her other half want to marry her, but she finally had an opportunity to live out her wedding dreams.

She could now bring all those thoughts about dresses, floral arrangements, and the like into conversations with her fiancé. They no longer had to sit at the back of her mind waiting for the right moment to make themselves known. With their engagement official, the woman wasted no time launching into wedding planning mode, but she soon hit a bump in the road.

Too much to balance

The bride was so devoted to her upcoming wedding that she spent every possible second thinking about it. Unfortunately, there was only so much time in the day to plan the special ceremony. She soon found that she wasn’t able to juggle all of her work commitments with her plans for the big day.

It didn’t help that she was losing time out of her schedule by driving to and from work, as well as getting ready in the mornings. All these little things took up her precious time, and they started driving the woman wild. Something needed to give eventually.

Time to quit

Realizing she had to commit to her wedding planning full time, the bride chose to walk away from her job. It was a huge decision to make, especially given she needed money to pay for her big day. However, she knew she couldn’t continue distracting herself with work commitments anymore.
Time to quit

There were far too many aspects of the wedding she needed to deal with, and having a job was just getting in the way of that. We’re not sure what her fiancé made of this bold decision. However, we do know how he responded after the bride made an incredible demand of him.
