No Hollywood movie would be complete without a wedding gatecrasher, because it’s this kind of unbelievable moment that rakes in gasps and screams of anguish. However, what some people don’t realize is that this isn’t all just a work of fiction.
After working for months to plan the perfect wedding, many couples find themselves dealing with gatecrashers who intend on ruining their day. It’s how they deal with it that really finishes the story.
Dealing with the past
Apart from those who marry their first loves, most of the people who get married every single year have a dating history. They have exes, they have former lovers, and they sometimes even have a whole load of baggage to boot.
Most of the time, we can move on from these former flames and find love in the form of someone else. However, that doesn’t mean that your ex is going to move on too. For some people, it’s extremely difficult to come to the conclusion that your relationship is over, and they try to hold onto it forever.
Running out of time
Of course, things get even worse when you realize that your ex has moved on with someone else. As the weeks go by, you hope that the relationship will fizzle out and they will find their way back to you.
This husband’s ex probably thought the same, until she discovered that he was engaged to be married and would be moving on completely in just a matter of months. By this point, it seemed as though she was running out of time. Little did the unknowing couple know just what she had in mind to change things…

When the big day came around, the bride and groom were so overcome with excitement and nerves that they didn’t think about anything else. All they wanted to do was walk down the aisle and meet each other at the altar, so they could finally become husband and wife.
Yet, the couple had no idea that their path to becoming man and wife wasn’t going to be easy. That’s because, just a few moments after the couple exchanged their vows and are getting ready to embark on their first kiss as a married couple, they were interrupted by a familiar face.
Dressed to impress
It didn’t take long for all eyes to rest on the woman who had just come bounding through the door. Not only was she a familiar face to many – because she was the groom’s ex – but because she was also dressed to impress.
While a smart dress was specified on the dress code, this lady went one step further and donned her very own wedding dress for the occasion! Was she also getting married?
Gearing up
Guests quickly came to the conclusion that the extra bride hadn’t just walked into the wrong wedding venue, but had instead gone to the venue with one mission on her mind. With a face like thunder, she made her way closer and closer to the couple, and everyone could see that she was gearing up to tear down a wedding.
However, nobody quite realized what her next moves would be.

While the extra bride made her way into the venue and towards the couple, the bride and groom just didn’t know what to do. They were dumbstruck, and they couldn’t believe that the day they had planned so expertly had imploded in front of their very eyes.
The groom was pulled out of his reverie when his ex-girlfriend jumped up on the stage and grabbed his arm. She wanted her man back.

Although all eyes were on the gatecrasher, many guests were also intrigued to see how the groom would react. Would he give in to his ex and realize that he still loved her, as his ex had hoped? Well, not quite.
After a few stunned moments, the groom knew that he couldn’t let his ex ruin his big day. He had found the love of his life, so he pulled away his arm.

However, the ex wasn’t done. She was going to try her hardest to win back the love of her ex, and she was going to be the one standing at the altar saying, “I do.” It had to happen, so she had to put an even bigger plan into action.
As her ex pulled away his arm, she did everything she could to reach back towards him and pull him back to her.
Making it better
As the drama erupted around the main stage and the new bride and groom, the guests just didn’t know what to do. So, the MC of the wedding decided to step it and make it better. He grabbed his microphone, and let the guests know that what had happened was truly unexpected and not part of the plan.
However, he also noted that couples are often tested throughout their relationship.
Deciding what to do
While the MC tried to take control of the situation, the groom’s ex-girlfriend could be seen deliberating as she sat on the floor. What would be her next move? It seemed as though she didn’t quite know the answer either, as she looked around at the crowd of people in front of her and scratched her head.

Not giving up
Within that moment of quiet, the bride and groom assumed that the ex had given up. They hoped that she would leave their wedding and leave them to their happy life, so they could move on and forget it ever happened.
However, the ex wasn’t going to give up that easy. She knew what she wanted, so she decided to reach up once more and grab his jacket, pulling him towards her.
Not getting it
By this point, the bride was becoming increasingly annoyed, and the groom was becoming increasingly aggravated. Neither of them could believe what was happening.
The groom had already made it quite clear that he had moved on from her, so why was she insisting so much? The bride was full of every kind of emotion.
Keeping it together
The bride’s new husband wanted her to get away from him and his wedding, but he was also conscious about hurting the woman who was obviously struggling, while she was lying there and begging at his feet.
So, he needed to think through his next move. In this type of case, it can be very easy for someone to lose the temper, but the bride and groom knew that they needed to hold it together.
Firm but fair
Although the groom wanted his ex to get him off, he also didn’t want to hurt her. Because of this, he needed to be firm but fair to ensure that she got the message.
To do this, he pulled himself away from his ex, but in the process, pulled her over at the same time. She just wouldn’t let go of his jacket, and this ultimately caused her to fall down even further.
Feeling humiliated
During this whole ordeal, the bride had simply stood by and watched another woman try to steal her husband. She felt upset, and she felt humiliated, and she knew that she couldn’t allow her wedding to be ruined in such a way.
It had become too much for the bride, and so she decided to leave the situation and head out of the venue. She wasn’t going to stand for it.

However, the bride was stopped in her tracks when her husband’s hand pulled her back. Throughout the altercation, her husband had kept a firm grip on her hand.
Her husband was trying to reassure her that she was the one he wanted. He wanted to show her that she was the one who mattered most but it was about to get more dramatic.

For the bride, she was humiliated and she actually composed herself rather well. It didn’t matter how long her husband held onto her hand, she didn’t want to have to stand there in front of her friends and family and be embarrassed by her husband’s ex.
As everyone stood and watched on in horror, the bride yanked her hand away and left the room as quick as she could. Leaving the ex lying on the ground.
Following her
Thankfully, the groom knew that he couldn’t just leave his wife feeling upset and angry, and he especially couldn’t leave her alone. He knew that he needed to be with his wife, and he knew that he couldn’t stick around his ex any longer.
The groom needed to make sure that the love of his life was okay, so he decided to follow her. However, nobody knew whether his ex would follow him or not.
Not knowing
Unfortunately, the video footage of the wedding crasher doesn’t continue for much longer than this. It cut off just as we realized that the ex decided to stick around on the stage rather than follow in the direction of her ex.
We can only assume that family and friends decided to get involved and remove the ex from the wedding. After all, she had already done enough to ruin the special day.

Because of this, it’s not known whether the bride and groom decided to make their way back into the venue after the groom’s ex was removed. Did they manage to seal their marriage with a kiss?
Or did they just move on and head to the reception? Hopefully, the couple didn’t let one gatecrasher ruin the one day that they would never be able to replicate, but you just never know.

People watched the video with their mouth’s open wide, each imagining what they would do if it happened to them, with most agreeing that they probably couldn’t have held it together as well as this bride did.

People couldn’t believe what they were seeing, and they couldn’t believe that someone really would try to gatecrash a wedding.
They believed that the ex was clearly in the wrong because she ruined a special moment for her own gain. She only thought about herself.
Is the groom to blame?
For the ex, some viewers actually felt sorry for her and wondered if she had been led on up until this point. After all, to show up in a wedding dress at your ex’s wedding is pretty intense.
Had the groom been leading her on behind his soon-to-be wife’s back? She obviously thought he would leave his current bride and go on to marry her.
