That seemed to be the thought process of one bride from Phoenix, Arizona, whose special day cost a whopping six-figure sum. However, she wasn’t the one who paid for it all.

Down on her luck

If you’re hoping for an expensive wedding, you’ll need an income that can support your spending habits. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for this bride. Just one month after her engagement, the woman found herself without a job.

Becoming unemployed is hard enough to deal with on its own, let alone when you also have a wedding to pay for. By the time the bride bagged a new job, she was already halfway through the wedding planning stage. Paying for everything she wanted wasn’t an option, which is why she was so grateful when two people offered her a hand.

Her parents’ generosity

It seems that her parents couldn’t bear to stand by and watch their daughter’s wedding dreams crumble. This was – hopefully – going to be the only wedding she ever had, so they wanted it to be special.

That’s why they decided to open their wallets and fork over whatever money their daughter needed. Things like her wedding dress and bachelorette party were only possible because her parents stepped up and helped her out. Paying his way

Wishing to do his bit, the groom also put some money toward the wedding.
