Everything The Ladies Of Two And A Half Men Have Been Doing Since The Show’s Finale
When the show Two and a Half Men first started airing in 2003, nobody knew that the show would be on air for a whopping 12 seasons. As soon as actor Charlie Sheen walked out on screen, and began delivering funny one liners, the audience fell in love with it. It wasn’t just Sheen that made the show a hit though, it was also the lovely ladies who starred on the hit sitcom. Since the show’s final season in 2015, these ladies have been very active on and off the screen. Keep scrolling to find out what they have been up to, and what movies and television series to see them in.
Holland Taylor – On The Show
Longtime actress Holland Taylor starred as Charlie Sheen’s character’s mother. On the show, the two brothers – Charlie and Alan, didn’t have that many run-ins with their mother, but the ones they did have were very comedic. Taylor’s character was known for being a gold digger, and would miraculously have a new husband on various seasons of the show.
While the two brothers didn’t have the most healthy of relationships with their mother, they did know how to banter back and forth, which made it incredibly enjoyable to watch the three onscreen. A lot of the jokes were pretty cutting, but that’s what made them so funny.
Holland Taylor – Present Day
Since Two and a Half Men came to an end, Holland Taylor has not stopped acting. She has taken on challenging roles, like her most recent one in Netflix’s Hollywood. She plays a studio executive named Ellen Kincaid who knows talent when she sees it.
On top of her acting, Taylor has also been in the spotlight for her ongoing relationship, with fellow actress Sarah Paulson. The two have been together for five years, and regularly walk the red carpet together. Paulson is a whopping 32 years younger than Taylor, but as we all know, age is just a number.
Courtney Thorne-Smith – One The Show
Finding lasting love was hard for Alan, and in season 7 he thought he had finally met his match with Lyndsey McElroy. Lyndsey, played by actress Courtney Thorne-Smith always had a drink in her hand, and a ribald comment. Alan was pretty smitten with Lyndsey, but she was pretty smitten with every man and woman that she came across.
Alan didn’t realize just how much Lyndsey loved to flirt, until he found out she had cheated on him with an ex-girlfriend of his. It was a pretty big blow to Alan’s self-esteem, but there was another young lady who would make his heart sing.
Courtney Thorne-Smith – Present Day
Actress Courtney Thorne-Smith may have looked pretty familiar, and that’s because she was a major star in the 1990s, and 2000s. She was on both Melrose Place and Ally McBeal in leading roles. While Thorne-Smith may not be as visible now, she has continued to act.
At present, she doesn’t have a starring role on a sitcom, but she can be seen in an episode of Mom which aired in 2020.
