Why HGTV’s Jonathan Scott And Longtime GF Really Broke Up

Design duo Jonathan and Drew Scott are the faces of HGTV. If you know the show, then you’ll know that hearts were broken when he introduced his girlfriend on the show. But, there was soon trouble in paradise… and we have all the details.

Child Clowns

Identical twin brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott  were raised on a horse farm not far from Vancouver, Canada.  At aged 7 they did something unconventional, and became child clowns. However, Jonathan had bigger plans.

Hard Workers

Jonathan and Drew have actually both been working most of their lives. On their 7th birthday, they also created their own business. Instead of playing outside and causing mischief like other boys their age, they decided to get a bit more serious.

JAM Enterprises

The twins founded a clothes hanger company, which they named JAM Enterprises. They went door-to-door selling the nylon-covered hangers they made, in the hopes of making some money. This is commendable from such a young age to have this business mindset.

A Career Was Born

Jonathan and Drew’s father passed on his skills to his boys by teaching them repair things around the house. At just 14, Jonathan and his dad moved to Alberta to build a dream home for his mom and dad. It was here that he gained skills that inspired him to begin a career in the industry, and from that moment he knew what his passion was.
