Whispering Sweet Nothings

It seems even royalty can’t escape wedding day jitters. According to some eagle-eyed spectators, the nervous groom whispered something a little naughty to Meghan as she arrived at the alter. One person wrote on Twitter: “Huge fan of Harry saying ‘I’m sh*tting it’ in front of every country in the world.” Of course it’s just speculation at this point, but it does seem like something the cheeky redhead would say.

Pregnant Zara Tindall (Phillips) stunned face

The very pregnant Zara Tindall, alongside husband Mike Tindall, turned up to the wedding ceremony looking as if she was ready to pop. There was one particularly memorable moment during the ceremony when the camera panned onto the couple as Pastor Michael Curry made an impassioned speech to the crowds. Curry was getting all riled up talking about the historical significance of fire, but Zara looked more than a little lost.

When Kate gave birth to little Prince Louis in April, fans from around the world caught sight of Prince George and Princess Charlotte as they first visited their new little brother in hospital. The lovely little Charlotte, three, stole the show as she waved to the onlookers in her bridesmaid dress.

Prince Harry, ever the gentleman, invited not one but two of his exes to his nuptials. Chelsea Davey and Cressida Bonas were both amongst the royal guests. Davy, who dated Harry on and off for seven years, attended the wedding at St. George’s Chapel but didn’t crack the list for the exclusive and intimate evening reception. Seems like a snub to us…

Archbishop No No

When the Archbishop was delivering his speech at the ceremony, he accidentally said ‘sexual union’. He specifically said, “The gift of marriage brings husband and wife together in the delight and tenderness of sexual union and joyful commitment to the end of their lives.” A few people giggled at the faux pas but the crowds quickly quietened down and the rest of the ceremony went off without a hitch.

Prince Harry said ‘I will’

Tradition and long-standing custom dictates that future husband and wife exchange their wedding vows to one another. The bride and groom each traditionally respond with ‘I do.’ Once those two fateful words are uttered, the two are bound for life. Yet Prince harry deviated from custom and responded with “I will.” There was a moment of hesitant silence, followed by some collective laughter amongst the guests and the lovely couple themselves.

Confusing and Hysterical Sermon

Michael Curry, the first black African American bishop of the Episcopal Church, gave an eccentric and memorable 12 minute speech at the wedding becoming a much talked-about social media sensation. His speech caused more than a few guests to have a giggle at his antics, even Harry and Meghan exchanged a look and smiled. The dashing sportstar Mr David Beckham also grinned. Meanwhile, Sir Elton John became a viral meme because of how annoyed he looked during the speech.

Sarah, Duchess Of York’s Arrival

When Sarah the Duchess of York arrived, she arrived in such a way that seemed to say ‘I’m here!’ The moment caused quite a few laughs to be had on Twitter. No one seemed to care too much about her arrival with so many other famous faces on the guest list.

You look amazing,” he said, Meghan reportedly responded with “Thank you,” and another phrase that couldn’t quite be made out. This heart-warming exchange made onlookers swoon.

The ceremony featured plenty of tears of joy as guests and members of the royal family celebrated the new husband and wife, but it seems there was at least one member of the wedding party who was weeping for another reason. One of the young bridesmaids, two-year-old Zalie Warren, found the attention a little overwhelming and had to be soothed by the royal nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, during the ceremony.

With an event as meticulously choreographed as a royal wedding, one wouldn’t think there would be to many surprises left for the bride, but Meghan was delightfully caught off guard by one surprise guest. As the couple made their way through the crowds in the carriage following the ceremony, Meghan caught sight of a familiar face in the crowd — her former drama teacher Gigi Perreau was a guest and special contributor to ITV. Meghan caught a glimpse of her old teacher and happily exclaimed “Oh my God!” as the carriage drove past.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were seemingly pleased it was finally over after all the fan fair had died down. Well, at least until October. The royals will do this all again when Princess Eugenie weds later this year at the same venue.

Kate could be seen smiling endearingly as her Prince struggled with the ring. He eventually managed to place the ring on her hand and all went along swimmingly.

As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went out onto the iconic balcony of Buckingham Palace, one little girl was none-too-pleased. Katharine, The Duchess of Kent, was spotted arriving at Windsor Castle on Saturday wearing a floor-skimming floral Erdem gown (worth over $4,000), lavender headpiece and pearls, strangely paired with ivory sneakers.

Many viewers claim they spotted Meghan turn to Harry and exclaim “Oh f***!” as they pulled away from Windsor Castle. But not everyone is convinced, some believe she simply said “Oh wow” following the emotional ceremony. “I swear I just saw Meghan say ‘f***” said one Twitter user. “Meghan says ‘oh f***!’ as carriage enters private section of Long Walk. What a farce! #RoyalWedding,” said another user.

Can We Go Already?

The Queen does not look too impressed, it does look as if she is just longing to return to the palace, take off her frumpy hat, have one of the servant’s pour her a cup of tea as she spends some quality time with the corgis.
