Incredible Photos That Capture The Force Of Nature

We often forget that Mother Nature has the power to give and take when she sees fit but she also provides us with the most majestic scenes we could have ever imagined in our wildest dreams. From football-stadium-sized landslides in Taiwan to the bluest frozen sea waves in Antarctica. This scenery is so fantastic that you have to see it to believe it. Sometimes animals surprise us such as racoons changing their eating habits to adapt to living near humans to a one-of-a-kind brown panda bear. Sea creatures can also be quite scary, like the time when a giant octopus tried to drag a deep sea diver back into the ocean. We should never forget that we are also part of Nature ourselves and she demands respect.

Grizzly bears’ personal space

No matter how cute and cuddly grizzly bears look, you are never to try to snuggle them if you don’t want to lose half of your face. In fact, grizzly bears like to have their own space and they will react violently if someone gets into that space.

They can weigh up to 1,500 pounds and their bite can easily break a bowling ball. If you ever encounter one, turn around and run fast!

The Call of Cthulhu

There’s something fascinating and scary about deep sea creatures which American writer H.P Lovecraft brilliantly described in his masterpiece “The call of Cthulhu”. Although the aquarium is now closed, The Oregon Undersea Gardens was the kind of place where you could find such creatures.

A charging Rhino is the most intimidating thing ever

Rhinos are incredibly massive in size but will be pretty chill unless they feel threatened. Beware if you make a rhino angry because if you are in their vicinity, they will charge at you and you will not stand a chance.

Most of them are white rhinos that live in the eastern hemisphere but there are also black rhinos which are less in number and are a little bit more aggressive. Please respect animals’ spaces.

A massive wave that hit a lighthouse

This image makes us very anxious to look at it! On December 21, 1989, a lighthouse on La Jument located off the coastline of Brittany, France, was hit with massive waves while the lighthouse keeper Théodore Malgorn was doing his best to stay safe.

Photographer Jean Guichard captured the moment when a giant wave hit the lighthouse and Malgorn was taking cover. It looks as if he were just chilling among the chaos around him.
