Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban first met in 2005 at the G’Day USA gala. It was said to be love at first sight – for Kidman at least. She told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview; ‘You didn’t love me at first sight, you didn’t notice me,’ and he’s like, ‘Yes I did, but I just didn’t let on.’ But we kind of met and then about four months later he called me.”
It proved to be love at first sight – for Kidman at least.

Whirlwind

The conversation went well and the two quickly began dating and were soon inseparable. After a whirlwind courtship, the two were engaged in the spring of 2006. After only a short time together, the pair were soon preparing for their big day.

Speedy Engagement
