When you’re in the public eye, you have to be sure you want to date someone before embarking on a relationship. Given the media talks about everyone you show the slightest inclination towards, you need to know that a prospective partner won’t damage your reputation. A bad relationship could have huge consequences for your career and send you on a one-way trip to obscurity. Of course, once you find ‘the one,’ you’re pretty much set for life. You can be your authentic self around them and enjoy everything that you bring one another, no matter how weird other people might find it. Just because your love isn’t up someone’s alley, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with it.

When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West started dating, people weren’t sure if they were a pairing that would last. After all, she didn’t have the best track record with love, and he seemed too out there for anyone to properly appreciate.

However, they’ve built a strong foundation together, albeit a weird one. People think that Kanye has been shaping his wife into his ideal woman, using her outfits as an example. The man was caught on camera swapping out Kim’s clothes for ones he preferred, and she now regularly wears things the man’s designed. At least she supports his creativity?

People weren’t sure whether to believe it or not when they heard that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin had gotten married. After all, only a few months earlier the singer had been in a relationship with his on again, off again lover, Selena Gomez.

However, their union was later confirmed, leaving us to wonder what brought this whole thing about. We’re still not entirely sure, especially given Hailey once used to be a Jelena stan.

David and Victoria Beckham

She might not align herself with the Spice Girls anymore, but Victoria Beckham has the group to thank for her success. She now has a fashion empire and is married to a soccer icon, not that she sees much of him. Apparently, they tend to live separate lives because of their work, with both rarely in the same city together.

Some rumors even claim they don’t have joint finances anymore, which just makes things weirder.

Amy Schumer’s marriage to Chris Fischer is going well at the moment, especially as they welcomed a child together back in May. However, the story of their relationship is pretty bizarre. Apparently, the comedian met her husband through her assistant, who’s also Fischer’s sister.

Schumer hired her assistant because of her manager, who’d actually dated Chris a decade earlier. However, said manager was fired shortly after Amy and her partner tied the knot in 2018.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra

In 2018, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony. Since then, they’ve been a couple in demand, although that’s more their doing than anyone else’s. The pair seem to be obsessed with getting themselves out there, to the point that everything they do appears to be sponsored.

Even Nick’s bachelor party received multiple sponsors, leaving us to wonder if these two would actually exist without anything for them to advertise.

Compared to how he used to be, Brand is somewhat conservative now. Given we’re used to the man being a certain way, it’s weird seeing him as someone completely different.

Mary-Kate Olsen’s grown up a lot since she was on Full House, including turning her back on acting and instead focusing on fashion. She’s also tied the knot with someone we never expected her to marry. Olsen’s relationship with Olivier Sarkozy – a man who’s 17 years her senior – has attracted a lot of attention over the years.

It would certainly help their case if he didn’t always look like a dad spending time with his daughter.

Derek and Hannah Jeter

We were pretty surprised when Derek Jeter and his wife Hannah got married. The former baseball player once dumped his partner because of her growing fame, only to regret that decision and put a ring on her finger. Apparently, Jeter hated it when his girlfriends became famous and started doing risqué photo shoots.

Is that perhaps why we haven’t seen anything of Hannah in a while? She used to model all the time, and now she’s rarely around.

Sometimes, you can’t help who you love. Of course, it’s always a good idea not to fall for your stepchild! That’s what happened with Woody Allen, who ditched Mia Farrow for her adopted daughter. Their relationship caused plenty of scandal when it emerged, and it’s still pretty controversial now.

It doesn’t help that Allen is about 35 years older than his new wife and that he abused his role as a step-parent when he was with Farrow.

When you’re married to the man responsible for films like Borat, you can’t expect to have a normal life. Of course, it seems that Isla Fisher is the perfect companion for the zany actor. She’s on the same wavelength as Sacha Baron Cohen, so when he asks her to do things like sneak an Ali G costume into the Oscars, she happily complies.

Life with the actor is never dull, but thankfully, that’s why Fisher loves him.

Some people don’t even think they love each other anymore. They’re sure they’re just staying together for their brand.

John Stamos, who you may know from the show Full House previously spoke public about how he was looking for the right woman before he started a family. Little did he know, she was right around the corner.
