Spring Coat Favorites

Light jacket weather means that you can finally put away those down parkas and break out your favorite spring fashions from a classic trench coat to an 80s inspired anorak. We have tracked down the hottest trends to show you what you should be wearing this season for those rainy spring days to the hint of summer air nights.

Denim Bomber Jacket

Bomber jackets have long been in fashion, and you can always go with the classic olive green one or colorful 80s version but this season denim bomber jackets take it to the next level. They are one step up from the jean jacket and add an understated elegance to your jean ensemble. Levi’s makes a particularly nice one that will not break the bank.

Trendy Trench Coat

Trench coats have been around forever, with Burberry and London Fog making them an iconic classic. The waterproof outer layer and the length make these an excellent choice for warmth and rain. Plus, you automatically look chic when you don one which makes it the perfect choice for brunch or an evening out on the town.

An Awesome Anorak

Brightly colored anoraks were a long time 80s favorite, as each component of the jacket could be a different neon color. But this season, the pullover jacket which features a large pouch-like pocket in the front is a good choice for those that enjoy hiking and other outdoor pursuits. It has the functionality needed for most sports and can transition to everyday use as this one from Fjällräven.

Terrific Track Top

Adidas is really trying to cash in on the 80s nostalgia this season by producing a line of runners that showcase a classic 80s shape and stripe on the side but their classic three-stripe tracksuit jackets are also making a comeback. Although, they never seem to have gone out of fashion in some parts of the world… Eastern Europe. If you want to find your inner Sporty Spice and get back to those 90s roots then this will pair very nicely with some light-wash jeans unless you want to go full tracksuit and wear the matching bottoms!

Corduroy Blues

Another blast from the past that has come back is corduroy jackets. While they are nice and soft, they also come in a lot of different colors with earth tones seeming to be the palate this season. A nice soft brown or forest green would pair well with some black jeans making it a good everyday jacket to go to work in or grab some lunch.
