It’s the weekend and that means naps, good books, leisure time and lazy late-morning breakfasts. We simply love this wholesome yet indulgent recipe for almond and cashew yogurt. It’s easy to make, packed with vitamins and perfect for you health-conscious, vegans!
1/2 a cup of almonds
1/2 a cup of cashews
2-3 cups of water
1 cup of Medjool dates
1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
Place the nuts in a bowl and cover them with water. Leave them to soak for about four hours. One they have been soaked, drain the water and place them into a food processor.
Blend the nuts with the dates, cinnamon and 2 cups of fresh water for about 10-15 minutes. Blend until a totally smooth, slightly runny yogurt forms.
Once it’s ready pour it into your bowl, top it with deliciousness and enjoy! We suggest fresh strawberries, figs, honey, coconut, banana, pecans or raspberries.
