Method:
First, you want to get all of your ingredients together and make sure that you have the vegan margarine cut into cubes. Next, you will want to grab a large bowl that you will need to mix all of your ingredients in. You will want to put the flour, sugar, and salt in the bowl and combine them. Using a whisk or spoon make sure that everything is well-mixed. Now it is time for the vegan margarine. Just as you would with butter you will want the margarine to be cold and cubed as you cut it into the dry ingredient mixture. You will need to mix all of these together until it takes on a crumbly appearance which happens as the butter warms up. You can use clean hands to achieve this or a baking implement of your choice like a pastry cutter.

Second, you will need to grab a small bowl for your wet ingredients. Pour in the vegetable oil and the water and whisk them together until they are combined. It is finally time to combine all of the ingredients together. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Again, you can use your hands to combine the two mixtures together until they are just combined and have formed a dough. Make sure that none of the flour mixtures is left loose in the bowl as it should be well combined.

Lastly, take some plastic cling wrap and cover the dough. Place it in the fridge and let it chill for half an hour to an hour. Once it has chilled, remove it from the fridge and roll it out on a floured surface and take your pie pan and press it inside. Now it is ready to be filled. Bake it and enjoy!
