The Ultimate Caffeine-Free Gingerbread Latte

Unfortunately, decadent store-bought beverages like hot chocolate and packaged creamy cappuccinos often boast hidden calories, excessive sugar contents and preservatives. This recipe offers you all the comfort of a delightful mug of something yummy with an added health-kick! Here’s our recipe for the perfect superfood-rich late night treat.

Ingredients:
3 cups unsweetened almond milk
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
2 tablespoons Navitas Naturals Goji Berry Powder
1 tablespoon lucuma powder
1 teaspoon honey

Method:
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. When the liquid just begins to simmer, remove from the stove and stir in the coconut oil.
2. Transfer the mixture to a blender and add the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into serving cups, topping each cup with some of the froth in the blender. Makes 2 servings.
