“I wondered if my passion for drawing could be my real passion and decided to try it out with a webcomic. It started off poorly, but I found it fulfilling and kept at it.”

“The comic has grown gradually since its inception. There have been spikes in traffic from various sources but never a steady stream from one site, which I’ve found ideal. I believe the turning point was when I started listening to feedback and criticism and adapted my original idea for the comic.
“The format became larger, with color, and stopped following trends. I’m still changing the comics as I learn more about forms, colors, subject matter, and composition. I know I have a lot left to learn, which motivates me to keep trying to make a comic that I can be proud of.”
What’s your favorite thing about making a webcomic?
“Making a comic is a very personal thing. I don’t like talking about it or telling people about it. It’s like a diary full of silly jokes that I enjoy, but I’m afraid if people read it, they’ll think I’m mentally ill. However, there’s a side of me that’s grateful to be able to express myself through my comics.
“It feels good to make people smile, but I don’t have to worry about hurting anyone’s feelings because I’m not making it for them. I think if I were to cater to other people, the content would lose its essence.”

You’re currently making Extra Fabulous Comics books. What’s the process like? “I’m considering doing a Kickstarter for the first book, but before I pull the trigger, I want to see if I can raise money by selling prints. At the moment, the print shop is paying for its own expenses and nothing more, so I may need to raise the price a bit, but I’m lazy and don’t like the idea of overcharging.” I’m not a good businessman.
Can you share some of your future plans for Extra Fabulous Comics? What can fans expect from you in the upcoming years?
“One of my main goals for Extra Fabulous Comics is to increase the frequency at which I produce the comics. I would also like to focus more on creating animations which is very engaging and entertaining. In addition to this, I would also like to develop a graphic novel with a solid storyline that will captivate my audience.”
“Ultimately, my long-term goal is to pitch a cartoon to Cartoon Network within the next few years. While this may seem like an ambitious plan, I am confident that I can make it a reality with hard work and perseverance.”

“The key to staying motivated is to keep things fresh and exciting. I try to challenge myself constantly and push my creative boundaries, which helps keep my work exciting and engaging.
