Seductive Paris: A Night at the Moulin Rouge

Few people have not heard of the seduction and allure of the Moulin Rouge. Recognized as the birthplace of the can-can, the Parisian cabaret was initially a dimly-lit and exclusive venue for courtesans to entertain their moneyed consorts. Today, the dance venue, known for its signature windmill atop its roof, is now a spectacular tourist attraction that lures millions of curious visitors from far-flung countries.
A night at the Moulin Rouge promises sultry entertainment and scrumptious food, yet ‘dinner and a show’ seems too quaint a description. Before the curtains open, diners enjoy a traditional meal prepared by the masterful French chef, David Le Quellec.

Guests can choose from a smoked duck breast or steak starter before diving into a main of roasted Scottish salmon or stuffed guinea fowl. The meal ends with either a delectable bite of strawberry charlotte cake or dark and decadent chocolate ganache.
80 dancers from all over the world will then perform in the “Féerie” show, featuring elaborate costumes created in renowned Parisian ateliers. The show is composed of several acts, with music from 80 musicians and 60 back-up singers.
