Chris Owen
Chris Owen started his acting career at a very young age. His big break came in American Pie, where he played Chuck Sherman. He was known as the Shermantor and stole every scene, making audiences laugh uncontrollably.
He has struggled to get other roles since then, and eventually, he became a restaurant server. Owen had a small part in The Last Sharknado in 2018, his last acting credit.
Josh Hutcherson
Josh Hutcherson was a young actor who quickly made a name for himself in films such as Bridge To Terabithia and Journey. He has been cast in the roles of Ultraman and Journey, as well as in Across The River and The Long Home. Both films are due to be released shortly.

Kevin Spacey
Spacey faced numerous allegations of behavioral misconduct, including from cast members of “House of Cards” and from the son of actor Richard Dreyfuss, who referred to Spacey as a predator. However, Spacey’s lawyer denied these claims. Despite being accused of assaulting the son of former Boston TV anchor Heather Unruh, the case against Spacey was dropped by Massachusetts prosecutors.
Following the allegations, Spacey was fired from the hit Netflix series “House of Cards,” and his scenes in “All the Money in the World” were reshot with Christopher Plummer. Additionally, his Netflix biopic of Gore Vidal was canceled, and he lost representation from his talent agency and publicist. The charity he established in 2018 to support young individuals in the theater was also closed. In November 2021, Spacey’s production companies, M. Proffit and Trigger Street, were ordered to pay $31 million to the producers of “House of Cards” for violating Netflix’s harassment policy. Spacey is set to appear in the Italian film “The Man Who Drew God.” The film does not currently have a US release date.
James Franco
James Franco is in self-exile after the controversy. In 2014, he asked a 17-year-old girl for her hotel name on Instagram. Five female students at his acting school later accused him of exploitation in 2018. Franco settled two lawsuits for $2.23 million. He was last on HBO’s “The Deuce” as the star, director, and producer. However, since the show ended in 2019, he has not acted on screen again.
After the scandal, his long-time friend and collaborator Seth Rogen ended their 20-year partnership. Franco admitted to sleeping with students and being wrong on a podcast in 2021. He has struggled with addiction and cheating and has a girlfriend named Isabel Pakzad. He also found being dropped by Rogen hurtful.
Marilyn Manson
Marilyn Manson, also known as Brian Warner, has faced multiple allegations of assaults by women, including actress Evan Rachel Wood. Manson has denied the allegations. As a result of the allegations, his record label Loma Vista, manager, and talent agency, CAA, cut ties with him. Manson was nominated for a Grammy in 2022 but did not win.
He filed a lawsuit against Wood for alleged “malicious falsehood” over her abuse claims, but HBO released her documentary about the allegations. In November 2021, LA County Sheriff’s Department searched Manson’s home concerning an assault case and seized items. According to Rolling Stone, his streaming numbers remained steady at about 5 million per week despite a decrease in radio airplay.
Armie Hammer
Actor Armie Hammer has been accused of problematic behavior by several ex-partners, including Effie Angelnova, Paige Lorenze, and Courtney Vucekovich. Hammer’s lawyer has denied all allegations.
As a result, he dropped out of several projects, including “Shotgun Wedding” and “The Minutes.” Hammer appeared in “Death on the Nile,” which received mixed reviews. He reportedly completed rehab, and the LAPD’s investigation into his behavioral allegations did not result in charges. A friend of Hammer’s allegedly said he would return to acting in the future.
Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen, the ex-model and wife of John Legend, faced controversy after being accused of bullying by Courtney Stodden and others. This led to her quitting her role as narrator in the Netflix show “Never Have I Ever” and her cookware line disappearing from Macy’s and being dropped from a deal with Bloomingdale’s.

Matt Damon faced controversy in August 2021 when he admitted in an interview that one of his daughters scolded him for using the disturbing slur “f—-t” in a joke. The actor defended himself, saying he has never used slurs and the conversation with his daughter was not a personal awakening.

Louis C.K. remains successful in his bubble despite controversy. In 2017, female comics accused the comedian of exposing himself and doing inappropriate things in front of them without consent. Louis C.K. admitted to the accusations and apologized, leading to the cancelation of his movie “I Love You, Daddy,” a TV deal with FX, and several performances, costing him $35 million in earnings.
However, he continues to tour and distribute comedy specials, winning the 2022 Best Comedy Album Grammy for “Sincerely Louis CK.” Despite this, Hollywood producer Gavin Polone doubts Louis C.K. will get film or TV work soon due to his lack of repentance.
Freddie Prinze Jr.
