As the ecstatic cast and crew of the musical movie gathered on stage and congratulated one another, preparing to give their acceptance speech, a member of the backstage team sprinted on to the stage and announced that the winner of the prestigious award was in fact Moonlight. Jerry Seinfeld and Kesha

Singer Kesha was starstruck when she saw Jerry Seinfeld being interviewed at a high profile event. Running over to Jerry, she excitedly told him how much she loves him and asked for a hug – he then replied with “no, thank you”. Unfortunately for the pop star, she thought he was joking and continued to ask him a few more times before continually being refused. Supposedly, Seinfeld had no idea who she was.

Fifth Harmony at the VMAs

Singer Camila Cabello used to be a member of girl group Fifth Harmony before she became a successful solo artist. Given this moment, it’s fair to say her previous bandmates were in no forgiving mood following the star’s rise to fame. During their performance at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, the band added a fake Camila to their routine and blew her off stage – literally. The fifth member fell back off the stage and seemingly into oblivion. Bye!

Ellen DeGeneres never fails to show her guests and audience a great time. Ellen is not only known for giving her fans surprise gifts but she’s also a well known prankster. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she told the members of the audience that they were allowed to take one free piece of merch from backstage – little did they know, she was secretly recording them and then outed the ones who stole any additional pieces. One particular woman was seen piling merch into her bag before being outed.

Ashlee Simpson on SNL

Ashlee Simpson was on the road to high-flying fame when she abruptly ended her career with an unforgettable appearance on Saturday Night Live. Unfortunately, the mishap is something she couldn’t recover from and only now, 14 years on, she is making a slow comeback. Starting her performance of “Pieces of Me”, the track started too early without Simpson realizing and her lip syncing was exposed. She did an embarrassing jig as the track played before retreating backstage.

Madonna’s fall at the Brit Awards

During her performance at the Brit awards in 2015, Madonna took a terrible stumble when she fell from the podium and toppled down a flight of stairs. Singing Living For Love, a backing dancer attempted to pull her cape off but ended up taking the icon with it. In true Madonna fashion, she got right back up and continued to belt out the hit.

Zac Efron’s condom mishap

Back in 2012, The Lorax came out in movie theatres and it was actor Zac Efron who played one of the main cartoon characters, Ted. While walking the red carpet for the premier, perfectly positioned in front of hundreds of paparazzi cameras, he reached into his pocket, and something fell to the floor. Cameras flashed and it was revealed that a condom had fallen from the star’s pocket. Not exactly what you’d expect to see at the premier of a children’s movie.

Beyonce is widely considered one of the most breathtaking and energetic performers of all time. As fierce as she is, the singing superstar proved even she has her moments during one of her shows in 2007 when she ran down some stairs. Queen B tripped and flew down the stairs and brutally landed on her face. In true form, she jumped back up and carried on wowing the audience with her act.

Jim Carrey was walking the red carpet at the NYFW Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party in 2017. It seems Carrey was in no mood for an interview.  Bizarrely, Carrey walked in circles around an E! presenter as she tried to ask him questions. We must say, she handled it exceptionally well and Carrey answered “Yeah I don’t believe in icons, I don’t believe in personalities. One of the world’s most famous social media stars, Kim Kardashian usually portrays a glamorous lifestyle of wealth, designer clothes and luxury holidays. When she was on vacation in Mexico and sunbathing in her favorite Prada sunglasses, she ended up falling to sleep. When she woke up, she realized she had caught severe sunburn and even worse, had sunburn around where her glasses had been. To Kim’s horror, an image of the sunburn has made its rounds on the internet.

David Hasselhoff

Taylor Ann, the daughter of the actor and singer David Hasselhoff recorded an unfortunate video of her famous father that would become a viral sensation. Making a home movie of Hasselhoff on May 3, 2007, she recorded him highly intoxicated, stuffing his face with a cheese burger while shirtless and lying on the floor. He can be heard slurring words while eating the burger. Sadly, this was his daughter’s desperate attempt to encourage her dad to stop drinking.

Winana Ryder caught stealing

It’s not very often you hear of celebrities stealing and with their hefty pay checks, why would they? Hollywood actress Winona Ryder was caught stealing nearly $4000 worth of high-end merchandise from an exclusive department store. The star was actually found guilty and convicted of theft. The controversy initially devastated her career but the actress has since made a triumphant comeback.

Taylor Swift and Kayne West

During Taylor Swift’s incredible rise to fame, the then-innocent pop star won the Best Female Video award, for the song ‘You Belong With Me,’ at the Video Music Awards in 2009. As she began her acceptance speech, controversial rapper Kanye West jumped on to the stage, grabbed her mic and infamously said: “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!” We’re not sure who was more embarrassed by the incident; Taylor or Kanye.

Christina Aguilera’s tan fail

While performing at the late Etta James’ funeral, singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera had a very unfortunate mishap. Deciding on a very recent spray tan was definitely a bad idea. Half way through her heartfelt performance, the fake tan began to run down her leg in an obvious and suspicious streak – she then attempted to rub it away using her other leg.

Beyonce’s fan problem

We have already recounted Beyonce’s nasty fall but the star sadly suffered another embarrassing moment while on stage in Montreal. While performing a touching rendition of her song,‘Halo’, her long locks managed to actually get caught in one of the fans! Incredibly, the star sang through the uncomfortable incident as a member of her security team helped untangle her hair.

Cardi B & Nicki Minaj

It’s one of the hottest and most exclusive parties of the year. New York Fashion Week’s annual Harper’s Bazaar Icons party is always a classy and fabulous event but this year’s extravaganza was the location of a pretty shocking interaction. During the event, rappers Cardi B and Nicki Minaj had a heated altercation during which Cardi was seen throwing her high-heeled shoe at Nicki. Cardi was hastily escorted out of the party with a massive lump on her head. Minaj later took to social media to share just how mortified she was.

Late music legend Prince was always a wild and spontaneous performer. During a 2011 concert, Prince noticed Kim Kardashian in the concert crowds and asked her to join him on stage while he performed. While the singer expected her to dance and work the stage, Kim froze and did little but look super awkward. The talented musician then told her to ‘get off the stage.’

Rapper 50 Cent is known for his bravado and has always spoken about how proud he is of his impressive physique and physical strength. In 2014, he was invited to Citi Field by the METS to throw a ceremonial first pitch. Admitting that he “was trying to be too fancy” the pitch has gone down as one of the worst in history. Throwing the ball, it flew to the left and was completely off target.

She has got to be one of the most famous singer-songwriters in musical history but that doesn’t mean Adele hasn’t experienced her fair share of embarrassing moments. In 2016, Adele forgot the words to her song ‘Million Years Ago’ at her concert in Manchester, England. In true Adele style, she shouted down the mic “Oh s*** – I started singing the chorus. Sorry!” Fortunately, the forgiving crowd laughed along with the singer.

Selena Gomez is known for being one of the most down-to-earth stars in the industry and we’ve loved watching her evolve from cute Disney kid to a beautiful and talented woman. As she has gotten older, her outfits have become more and more risqué. Unfortunately for Selena, this particular outfit turned out to be just a bit too revealing. Thank goodness she was wearing underwear!

Kim Kardashian

Back when she was 30-years-old, Kim Kardashian had another awkward moment that left her humiliated in front of millions of fans and photographers. While on the red carpet for her perfume launch, Kim K was attacked with a bag of flour. An unidentified woman ran over and pelted her with the powder. It’s unclear what exactly her motives were but the moment was indeed a humiliating one.

When nature calls, you better answer. Fergie learned the hard way that one should always head to the bathroom before heading on stage. In 2015 while performing onstage Fergie peed herself in front of the crowd while the wet spot was clearly visible on her light-colored trousers.

Miss Who?

The internet lost its mind over the climatic conclusion of the infamous Miss Universe pageant in 2005. Steve Harvey, who hosted the event, announced the wrong winner, and then awkwardly had to walk it back out in front of everyone and announce his mistake. He named the first runner-up, Miss Colombia, as the winner, when in fact Miss Philippines was the real winner of the coveted title. Oops.

Sofia Vergara is known for her incredible and voluptuous curves. Though they’re an undeniable asset her ‘assets’ proved a little too ample at the 2012 Emmy Award show. Her designer dress ripped down her back, revealing her backside to the whole world. Some would say it was a blessing.

Katy Perry’s pink cake

Remember the smash hit song “I kissed a girl” by singer Katy Perry? Well, when performing the cheeky tune at the MTV Latin America Awards in 2008 Perry took an unfortunate tumble. As with most of her performances, Perry put on an extravagant show and had a huge pink frosted cake on stage. At the end of the performance, she dived on top of the cake and smothered herself in the frosting. While covered in the cake, she struggled to get up and repeatedly fell to ground in her revealing costume. She might want to rethink that move.

Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts turned up to the Notting Hill premiere looking lovely, but when she waved to the paparazzi and adoring fans, everyone quickly gasped in horror as she revealed her unshaven armpits. Though it seems to be quite the feminist fashion statement today, many were shocked back in 1999.
