In 2006, Jeanne was introduced to the team as the new girlfriend of Tony DiNozzo. In a surprise reveal later in the show, it is discovered that she is, in fact, the daughter of Rene Benoit, a known and dangerous arms dealer. Despite her questionable background, Jeanne charmed the team with her intoxicating blue eyes and cool demeanor.

Ducky Mallard’s mother, Victoria, only appeared on two episodes of the show. Victoria is always accompanied by her loving corgis. In 2006, her son confesses she moved away after developing severe Alzheimer’s. The sad truth was that Victoria had passed away.

Meredith Eaton features starred as Carol Wilson. Wilson is a skilled researcher employed at the Center for Disease Control. NCIS audiences were first introduced to the character in the seventh season on the show’s special Christmas episode.

Brannagh played Catherine Reynolds on just one episode on NCIS. Reynolds was a disturbed patient in a psych ward and she was thought to be involved in the death of the Navy officer Jessica Smith. Gibbs and Kate meet Reynolds when they go to a mental hospital to investigate the case.

In the episode entitled Knockout, China Anne McClain plays the role of young Delilah Vance. Delilah is the daughter of Director Vance who goes by the nickname Lily. The episode revolves around the death of Vance’s friend, Tyler Owens, and the team’s investigation of the troubling death.

Claudia Black played the dealer, Velvet Road in the episode titled Borderland. Velvet Road is the tattooed, no-nonsense bad girl who killed Ray Collins out of self-defense. After the body of the Marine is found in a local junkyard, the team is made to believe there is a serial killer on the loose.

Claudia Black is a popular Australian-born actress who has a long list of acting credits to her name. Like so many Australian actors, Black got her start on a soap opera, a popular daytime series called Home and Away. In addition to appearing on NCIS, Black has been featured on shows including 90210 and The Originals.

Kaylen Burrows is in the Navy and has the title of Petty Officer Second Class. In the episode, Gibbs believes that a victim was killed by the murder suspect as an act of revenge against him. The team soon discovers that the case is connected to Petty Officer Burrows.

Susanna Thompson plays the role of Hollis Mann in NCIS. Mann was in the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Criminal Investigation Division. She later retired and became an agent at the Department of Defense.

Shannon Gibbs was the wife of Jethro Gibbs was formerly a Marine Gunnery Sergeant-turned-NCIS Special Agent. Gibbs first appears in multiple flashbacks and dreams of Jethro’s. Shannon ultimately meets a sad end when she is murdered. Jethro is devastated by the loss but goes on to marry again three times.

Alaskan-born actress Darby Stanchfield has become a famous face for her recent role as Abby Whelan in Scandal. Stanchfield has had other popular roles on General Hospital, Jericho and Mad Men. Stanchfield played the role of Shannon Gibbs in NCIS from 2006 until 2012.

Diane Sterling was married to and divorced from both FBI Agent Tobias Fornell and Special Agent Gibbs. Despite her failed romances, the character found solace in her extensive work as a revered criminal investigator. She first makes her appearance in season 9.
