Satisfy That Sunday Sweet Tooth: Superfood Bites
If you are feeling the effects of the night before, these superfood bites will restore your energy, and curb those cravings for a hangover blow out. Extremely easy to make- and so moorish, these will save your Sunday. These energy balls are bursting with goodness, so you can pop a few in guilt-free.
Ingredients:
1 cup gluten free oats
tablespoons cacao powder
12 pitted fresh dates
1 cup (80g) desiccated coconut
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons desiccated coconut
Method:
In a blender, combine the rolled oats, cacao powder, dates, 1 cup desiccated coconut and maple syrup until smooth and well combined.
Next, place another 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut on a plate. Take the mixture, and roll it into balls. Roll in coconut to evenly coat. Place on a lined tray in the fridge for 1 hour or until set.
Eat and enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
