The 13 Reasons Why actress wore this gothic-inspired, dramatic number. The elaborate pantsuit was designed by Giorgio Armani. We’re not quite sure if the look needed the tulle bow on her head but we love the smokey eyeliner.

The hilarious Tiffany Haddish acted as host for the evening’s festivities. She made an entrance on the red carpet wearing this metallic and tulle gown by Galia Lahav. The look is fun, dramatic and just a little sexy – exactly what you need for an MTV awards show!

It seems like Mandy Moore was beamed down from some futuristic spaceship in this embellished minidress. The star looked chic in the Alberta Ferretti shift, polishing off the look with swept-back hair and dangling diamond earrings.

It looks as if the nude trend is still in full swing! Alison Brie wore this revealing, embellished dress to the award show. Though we love the chic ponytail and chunky heels, we feel like she should have covered up just a bit more. There are kids in the audience!

We don’t want to be unkind, but there’s simply no saving this look from the worst-dressed list. Ajiona Alexus looks more like she’s been stranded at sea with a wardrobe of fishing nets than attending an A-list awards show.
